A sweet and fiery whisky with natural flavours.
Although it was launched initially as a Father's Day limited edition release (618 bottles) in 2023, it now seems to be continuously available in some places in the US.
According to its label, Fireball Dragon Reserve is a 'Cinnamon Whisky Rested with Charred Oak for a fiery smoothness'.
It has 33% ABV and it is described as a 'Whisky with natural flavours'.
I'm assuming this one is supposed to be the more sophisticated, barrel-aged version of Fireball, although ageing takes place in the charred oak barrels for only about three months (as far as I'm aware).

Time to try it!
Nose: Sweet with cinnamon spice (way more fiery than the original Fireball and a more pronounced sweetness)
Palate: Honey-like sweetness, spicier on the palate than expected
Finish: Long with a lot of sugary cinnamon spice

After trying the original Fireball, I was highly curious about this one.
I can't say this one is that much different to the Fireball. It has a more mellow, syrupy kind of sweetness and it feels quite fiery on the palate, but apart from this, if you would make the same cocktail with either of them, you probably couldn't tell the difference that much.
I can see this one pairing well with ginger ale, apple juice or orange juice, and wouldn't recommend drinking it neat unless you really enjoy the burn of cinnamon spice lingering for some time.
Priced at around $24 on some US websites, this one is unfortunately not available in the UK, but you can find the standard Fireball here.

As always, please drink responsibly.
