Hormozi Coffee is a family-run coffee roastery from Kent, UK, founded in 2000. With over 30 single-origin coffees and quite a few blends and decafs, the company prides itself on providing coffee freshly roasted to order.
After seeing numerous ads, I decided to try them.
If you opt for a sample, you have quite a few choices to make:
1. You can choose the origin - a long list to pick from, or you can opt for a blend
2. Whether you want beans, finely or coarser ground coffee (for either espresso or filter coffee)
3. You can opt for 25 grams or 125 grams. The postage for the 25g one costs £ 0.99, while the 125g one is £3.99.
4. You can choose to have a light, medium or dark roast, or even green
If you're not entirely sure what to choose, they provide a few recommendations for light, medium or dark roasts.
I opted for a 25-gram pack of Brazil Yellow Bourbon, fine ground and a medium roast.
It arrived via Royal Mail a few days later.
The second I opened the packaging I knew I picked the right one for me.
It smelled absolutely delicious, and both the espresso and americano I made were fantastic. I honestly cannot fault the delivery and definitely cannot fault the sample.
As far as I can tell, there isn't a limit on how many samples you can choose, as long as you pay £ 0.99 for each, so if you're not too sure what to pick, you can try a few, without having to commit to a larger pack.
If you decide to buy a decent-sized pack of the coffee you sampled, you can choose from 250g/1kg/2kg/4kg/6kg.
As an idea, price-wise, a 250g pack of the one I chose is £ 9.79, while a 250g pack of the Spanish House Blend is £6.59.
Apart from coffee, Hormozi Coffee also have a small selection of teas, a decent selection of hot chocolates, catering items and even coffee equipment.
After trying the Brazil Yellow Bourbon, I am most likely going to try a few others, as it left an excellent first impression.
Have you ever tried Hormozi Coffee? If so, what has your experience with them been like?
