Jim Beam Kentucky Fire is a Cinnamon Liqueur infused with Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky.
Launched in 2014, the Kentucky Fire has 32.5% ABV.
If fiery cinnamon is not your thing, Jim Beam offers a few more flavours to choose from: peach, apple, black cherry, honey, orange and vanilla.

Time to try it
Nose: Sweet cinnamon, not too harsh on the nose
Palate: Tastes what I imagine cinnamon spice syrup could taste like. It's quite pleasant on the palate, gentle and not really harsh in any way
Finish: A bit of cinnamon spice towards the end with a short-ish finish

For me, Jim Beam Kentucky Fire is too sweet to be drank neat, or even as a shot. It tastes like a dessert and I can imagine using it in some of my recipes such as the Drunk Almond Cookies or the Whisky Cookies.
Although it has 32.5% ABV, for me it feels more like 20%. I managed to mix some of my little sample with both apple juice as well as ginger ale and I can see it going down a treat in quite a few cocktails.
The Jim Beam Kentucky Fire seems to be available mainly in the US, but if you're from the UK
and want to give the peach, apple or black cherry versions a go, you can find them here.

As always, please drink responsibly.
