Pizza Dough Garlic Knots - Easy Recipe

Super garlicky, extremely delicious, and very easy to make.

Pizza Dough Garlic Knots

This recipe requires ready-rolled pizza dough, for convenience, but if you have a go-to recipe for it, please feel free to use it instead.

I prefer to use dairy-free butter/spread for this recipe, but if your diet allows it, you can use butter instead.

Either way, these Pizza Dough Garlic Knots will disappear in no time.

Pizza Dough Garlic Knots Recipe

You will need:

  • 2 x 400g dairy-free ready-rolled pizza dough

  • 3 tsp rosemary and onion seasoning

  • 5 medium garlic cloves, crushed and finely chopped

  • 100g dairy-free spread/butter

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper

  • a teaspoon of olive oil, for coating the oven dish

Pizza Dough Garlic Knots ingredients

How to:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C/gas5

  2. Cut the dough into strips

  3. Knot each strip and place in an oven dish, lightly drizzled with olive oil

  4. Bake for 15 minutes or until slightly brown

  5. In a saucepan, melt the butter, then add the chopped garlic, salt, pepper and the seasoning

  6. Put the contents of the saucepan over the baked knots, making sure that every knot is fully covered with the melted butter, and bake for another 4-5 minutes.

  7. Remove from the oven and let the garlic knots cool down slightly before serving

  8. Enjoy!

  • You can bake the knots on a tray lined with baking parchment and then transfer them to an oven dish, I just prefer to keep it simple and pour the melted butter over them as soon as they're ready.

  • If, by some chance, you have any left, they will last in the fridge for 2-3 days.

  • If you don't have any rosemary and onion seasoning available in your cupboard, dried rosemary will do the job just as well. You can also use oregano or Italian-style herb blends.

  • You can use less garlic cloves if you're not as obsessed with garlic as I am

  • If using the ingredients on my list - this is a dairy-free / vegan recipe, but feel free to use butter if your diet allows.
