I never thought I would ever enjoy subscription boxes as much as I do. I like the idea of trying new products (especially snacks), but most of the time when I go shopping I'm not too adventurous with my choices. I will try a few different things, but not nearly as many as I'd like to, so having a box sent to my house every month with a variety of new things for me to try is simply great!
I discovered Degustabox. a while ago and I wish I could get one every week. For £12.99/month you get up to 15 products, they're different every time and I've used it as a good way to discover new products.
Apart from the various products, inside you also have a list of said products and how much they usually cost and where you can usually find them. The fun part is the box costs the same every month, as you would expect, but the products inside are definitely worth more.
There might be months when you're not 100% happy with every single item, but the rest of them usually make up for it and I have to say, given the recent pandemic situation, having a box of food items delivered every month has been absolutely wonderful.
Delivery is through DHL so you get a text the day before your delivery and one on the day, telling you between which hours to expect it so it's all nice and simple.
So far I've been more than happy with this box and I would definitely recommend it.
Updates!
June, July, August and September 2020 boxes:
I found out that they do a Christmas Advent Calendar as well so I obviously got one as you can see below. I was very pleased with the contents so this one is definitely on my list for next year as well.
I've recently tried their 'Selection Box' which is a bit more expensive than the subscription (The Selection Box is £21.99, the usual one is £12.99), and I think it's worth it. As always, I found a nice mix of cooking ingredients, drinks and snack
I'll be honest with you, Degustabox is one of my all-time favourite subscription boxes. So far I've received consistently good products and good delivery. Have you tried it? What do you think?
